Enhance vertical safety with the Petzl ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester, engineered for rope access, rescue, and industrial work at heights. In normal operation, ASAP LOCK smoothly ascends or descends with the user on a 10–13 mm EN 1891 Type A rope. In the event of a sudden fall, it locks instantly onto the rope to arrest the fall.

The built-in locking lever enables manual locking to reduce fall distance or prevent rope swing in windy or complex anchor scenarios. Its connection arm ensures drop-resistance when transitioning past intermediate anchors, preserving system integrity. Designed to be used with an ASAP SORBER or ASAP SORBER AXESS energy absorber, ASAP LOCK provides protection even when distanced from the rope.

Crafted from robust aluminum, stainless steel, and nylon, ASAP LOCK weighs approximately 425 g, making it both portable and durable. Globally certified to CE EN 12841 Type A, CE EN 353‑2, ANSI Z359.15, UKCA, and EAC, it meets international safety norms when paired with approved components.
