The Camp Piton Universal is a classic piton for your alpine routes, for aid climbing and for creating reliable fixed anchors. The Camp Piton Universal has a shaft with a slim pointed shape which fits well with typical granite rock cracks. The head of the piton is angled at 45° degrees, meaning torque is applied when placed in the rock. This therefore secures the anchor in a similar to a key in a lock – regardless of whether the placement is horizontal or vertical. A little steel wonder for your rack, and super useful on your climbs.
