Scarpa Mont Blanc Pro GTX – Mountaineering Boot

The Mt Blanc Pro is a warm and durable boot designed for technical mountaineering and winter climbing.

It is built around the latest Essential AC sole platform which is lightweight, and cushioned but also extremely burly and durable. The TPU insert at the toe gives a symbiotic connection to the latest automatic crampons.

The upper is a hardy 3mm perwanger leather backed up with a GORE-TEX® (Insulated Comfort Footwear) for cold weather use. The new ankle cuff design has an Exo-Ys TPU structure injected directly into the material, creating a really lightweight but supportive cradle around the ankle. The revised softshell gaiter is even easier to get into helping protect against snow and spindrift. The combination of PU Tek and rubber rand gives the optimum blend of weight saving and reinforced protection, making the Mt Blanc Pro one of the lightest boots in its class.

Combination of the proven sole unit of the Phantom Guide and Mont Blanc with the precise, compact fit and the revolutionary elastic tongue construction of the “Rebel” series, particularly durable leather stock.   • Active-Impact:
  • The ACTIVE IMPACT TECHNOLOGY is a construction which increases the damping properties through different materials and at the same time improves the energy of the rolling behaviour.
  • Ankle Padding:
  • The Ankle Padding system consists of a special “memory foam”that adapts perfectly to the shape of the foot. This technical solution is very light and breathable. Due to the memory effect, the material returns to its original shape after each wear. With the Ankle Padding System, Scarpa has further improved wearing comfort and ensures the best performance in any terrain.
  • Gore Tex:
  • The GORE-TEX® membrane is an extremely thin layer of stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). It has more than 1.4 billion pores per square centimetre. These pores give the GORE-TEX® fabric its special properties. GORE-TEX® footwear keeps your feet dry and comfortably tempered in all weather conditions, offering optimum climate comfort.
