Shaft Construction: Hydroformed aluminum shaft that extends through the grip for maximum stiffness and a responsive swing, while keeping weight low.
Modular Head System: Part of the Black Diamond I.C.E. (Interchangeable Component Ecosystem). The stainless steel head allows for easy changing of picks and swapping between a hammer and an adze.
Adjustable Grip: Features an adjustable FlickLock upper pommel. This acts as a secondary grip for technical climbing and can slide up the shaft for a lower grip on low-angle snow.
Spike Design: Equipped with a clippable spike featuring a large hole that can accommodate a carabiner, useful for clipping to a harness or for certain leash systems.
