Beal has designed the wall school climbing rope to feature a 10.2 mm construction.
This dynamic climbing ropes also manufactured around the Beal unicore process, this is where the outer sheath is bonded to the inner core.
This really does help to reduce / prevent sheath slippage. The sheath incorporates about 40% of the overall thickness of the rope, but it is still soft in the hand and also very easy to handle while belaying.
